Insane Trials

hi, pls help me complete 1st one - its unlocked and i think im ready, but dunno what is a good zodiac strategy etc

thx in advance in case some valuable answers ♥

appeared Insane trial #1 is pretty easy
did it with basic +25 quality red zodiacs

all u have to do is wait for 5xChallenge 10 completions - it took me 5x22 minutes time skips

and voila

p.s. still open to hints for future trials.

Second Trial I used 3 Aries, 3 Gemini, 3 Taurus, 3 Gemini (That Order)

My zodiacs were around +100 (1e9 Quality) and it just insta completed like the first one for me.

It shouldn't be too difficult with the score build. Try 6 wind 6 fire.

Alternatively swap out an Aries/Leo for two Cancer.

Any good build for trial 3? Pretty close to having trial 4 unlocked and still haven't cleared the third. I keep falsely assuming as I get more refine node progress, I can just stomp it with my typical 6 wind 6 fire build but it's still struggling.

Taurus+libra. Its like 5x taurus and 7x libra. But you can try 4+8 or 6+6. Taurus is for IPs, Libra for EPs. You probably dont need that trial until you are past node 21 on refine tree.

Ty, that did the trick. I experimented with swapping a taurus in before I asked, but stalled out close to the finish line. Slipping in an extra few libras got me there.

You need a lot of quality on your zodiacs to make it work.

Honestly, calling bs on that. You get more bonus doing the occasional sacrifice every so often as quality jumps than you do out of replacing a set. But regardless, I was farming a fresh set before attempting earlier. So thanks I guess for recommending a 0.001% boost in stats on a new set would make a difference.

Editing for good measure. I have been updating my pisces every so often and building up fresh sets before doing any of the trials then immediately purging them. It wasn't a quality issue especially when the difference between 150m quality zodiacs and e15 quality zodiacs is laughable. I honestly can't see that making any significant difference. But regardless, I've still been in the habit of keeping them up to date.

Sacrifice on the other hand is still spiking as quality scales. And purging quite a few zodiacs to it before trying the trial was far more beneficial than the tiny difference on zodiacs. For example, practically doubled my IP gain in sacrifice in all of a few zodiac sacrifices before trying that trial. I'd say that's far more impactful than tiny pity amounts on grinding zodiacs for quality.

Still though, I did a fresh farm, I merged up for extra quality, ran them through a few rinses of enhancing and even redistributed to have stats in priority order before giving it a go and asking in here if there was a better set for it. Ended up not even using the full recommendation to knock it out, that's how close to completing it I was. Anyways, only nitpicking a bit for others who stumble in here for advice. Using the right zodiacs > grinding quality up on a set that falls short.

2e16 atm before doing any extra stuff with it. Going to shoot well past that in a few hours since I'm doing the big magnet build up atm to shove myself past the 100k+ per upgrade slump.

Editing: just shot up to 2e19 and still squeezing what progress I can out of this push because that magnet setup sucked farts to do.

But boy is spamming the polish button for 0 pp getting really old very quickly. Just hoping there's some good progress to be had with relics I haven't unlocked yet to merit this torture. Still though, it's either this torture or the torture of refining for pity amounts towards 100k+ nodes that barely move the needle. I made my choice and sticking with it.

The e quality just refers to how things are numbered with scientific notation settings (better and easier to understand imo)

"e levels" is just scientific/engineering notation. It shows numbers in multiply of 10 (instead of messy words), eX means *10^X. So e1 means *10, e3 *1000, e6 *1000000... Its much easier to read once you get to high numbers, when you are at e600 and you need e603, you see right away that you need 1000 times more.
