Dilation Tree

So if you buy one non-optimal upgrade in the dilation tree, you are done?
Cause reset means 5% irreversible penalty and the jumps between DTP costs are huge. Explanation of each DT upgrade is not obvious though

You only lose 5% of the first three bought dilation upgrades. ie, if you own 100, lose 5%, you now have 95. They can be easily bought back. I agree it confused me when I read it the first time.

Losing 5% is not *that* big of a deal, but I still dont like it

The way it's worded makes it look like you will only have 5% of your upgrades remaining after you respec i.e. you would lose 95% of them.
