Easy Prestige achievement

Can you only promote if you hit the next level? I have the button available but pressing them doesn't do anything, do I need to calculate next level + current level exp + small headway to run a chance to do this achievement after getting getting all above lvl 15 or is it just a bug that you can't simply add exp to current promotion levels?

Anyone else running into similar problem? If I let exp run unhinged and have enough exp accumulated to hit a new level, I have no problem promoting.

the button appears whenever you have 1k but you can only promote if you can actually buy at least 1 level. For that achievement I recommend leaving #4 promotion at base value so that when your other promotion upgrades can easily get you to 1k without ascensions you can easily buy it for the achievement.

I actually learned that the hotkeys apparently override requiring enough for a level, so I hit 4 and added a single exp to complete it myself

seems this method was patched out... cause its not working for me
