How should "automate infinity" be set up?

I can't seem to figure out how to setup "automate infinity" without a fall in IP production. How can I set this up properly (i.e.: tutorial/explanation)?

Its not a science - I find that section more art than any other - and lots of observation.

All things being equal (meaning nothing else changes except the Automate Infinity), your value is too low in Min IP or too high. Sometimes when I adjust after things change, what I adjust to doesn't always yield a better rate.

For instance, if takes someone 1 minute to make 1000 IP based on "1000" in the Min IP box, changing it to 2000 may take someone 3 minutes to get to that. That You may be getting more IP per 'run', but its a lower rate.

Changing it to 1200 might only take you 5 more seconds, and that would be a better rate than the 3000 value, even though its a lower amount per Infinity.

Conversely, maybe putting it down to 800 Min IP may one take some 30 seconds to get that. Yes, 800 is lower than the 1000 you get in 1 min, but you can Infinity twice at 800 at the same time, yielding you a better average.

Its an art, and some persistence in observation, making small adjustments every few 'runs' to see if the adjust is better or not.

First thing is to complete all challenges so you can break infinity in the challenges tab. If you don't have broken infinity, then don't use automate infinity.

Automate Prestige | 0, 1000, 0
Automate Infinity | time 1200s(instead of time you can check how much IP you will get near 20min and set this amount as min IP and time to 0.005)
Automate Promotions
Promotion 1 - +15, 5s
Promotion 2 - +15, 5s
Promotion 3 - +15, 5s
Promotion 4 - +15, 5s

Also try to complete all 9 challenges and get lesser Challenges time sum - at least 4-5 minutes then down to 4 sec.
And don't forget to buy generators.

Challenges time sum and generators give great boost.

Yes I agree with spidweb01 - wait until infinity is broken. the numbers i gave above were just a simple example to show rate is all. The values I gave in my example were just examples and not indicative AT ALL of that's when one should start using Automate Infinity.

I get it now, infinity needs to get broken, so you can get larger infinity numbers :D
