And few upgrades are tied to chalange times, so its worth to rerun challanges once in the while.
Autobuy Buyables - 100%
Automate Prestige | 0, 1000, 0
Automate Infinity | time 1200s(instead of time you can check how much IP you will get near 20min and set this amount as min IP and time to 0.005)
Automate Promotions
Promotion 1 - +15, 5s
Promotion 2 - +15, 5s
Promotion 3 - +15, 5s
Promotion 4 - +15, 5s
Also try to complete all 9 challenges and get lesser Challenges time sum - at least 4-5 minutes then down to 4 sec.
And don't forget to buy generators.
Challenges time sum and generators give great boost.
Im running manual infinities as it fluctuates too much after each infinite. Sometimes i infinite in 15 minutes, sometimes in 1 or 2 hours. Basicaly check how much you can get and how much you need for upgrades and plant infinity acordingly.
If you watch it over a few minutes though the IP value of an infinity does kinda plateau for a bit and then spike an absurd amount out of nowhere and then plateau again and then maybe it spikes again...
I picked up a tip from somewhere for 5 second timings on automate promote and it has seemed to be working good at that pace. I've tried this with as high as 25 levels as the target but I just now dialed it back to 15 levels like a comment in here suggested. Seems to be getting good results, but then at the same time as I'm trying this I've been getting the next tier generator and levels on several other generators all purchased so performance is going to improve with those anyway.
Oh, speaking of upgrades shifting what the target ought to be, I just purchased upgrade 20.1 and went from 1e21 IP in 3m22s to 1e21 IP in 53.38s. So that target needs to get pushed way up. I usually test in smaller increments than this but screw it, let's see what time it does 100e21 IP in... And it's 3m36s. Testing 250e21 now, because why not. And... that's 4m32s. I'm good with that, for now. Although that did just get me a few more generator levels, so... lol, reaching 100e21 in 3m18s now.
Anyway, I could be wrong but it seems to me like the first prestige or two in a promotion cycle struggle too much if I set the target multi for the prestige at 1,000,000 or higher. I seem to get the best results with 10,000 or 100,000. I run one of those at 0.9 second timing. But that's just sort of what I arbitrarily felt made sense. I don't know if that's actually a good time for it. My reasoning was that if it hits that timing on every prestige and I'm running the promotions on 5 second timers it gets 5 prestiges in and then there's still half a second for things to work before the 5 second mark where a promotion should be happening.
Your advice has really helped out.
I ended up targeting a Min IP rather than Time in Automate Infinity due to the varied results using Time, as Dwane Dibbley pointed out. I also see that the IP/s seems to correlate nicely to the time of the run. I ran some scenarios and found that targeting 5B ran 3min for 26M/s, targeting 20B ran for +6min for 52M/s, and targeting 40B ran 9min for 75M/s. The IP/s increased at the same rate at the run time. (Triple the run time netted triple the IP/s.) I'll try out the 20 minute scenario to see if that exceeds my ceiling and breaks the correlation.
I also saw better results using s1borg's recommendation for 15, 5 on Promote and muljostpho's recommended Prestige target multi of 100,000 rather than a higher number. (I experimented with higher and lower variations of these and found these numbers to work best for me.)
So just to recap, 9 hours ago I was stuck at 880 IP/s wondering how to proceed. Your advice got that up to 75M/s (and likely upward with the 20 minute scenario). I've yet to obtain the 19;1 thru 21;1 upgrades, but this will definitely help. Thanks again!
+15 seems really low. are you sure thats good?
+15 might seem low, but since he has 5s specified as minimum time it will ramp up very quickly in the beginning
I am running with very similar numbers (+20 level gain, min time 2s).
Since at least 2 seconds has to pass before the auto-promotion kicks in it will stack up much further than +20 initially, so I might get up to 400-600 levels in a couple of seconds
Although these numbers work very well for me now, I have to admin I have set the very long time ago (before my first eternity, and now I am past my 11th eternity). I might have to tweak it littler more frequently to get more optimal setup from time to time
Depends where you are. I started with 10/5 and soon changed to 20/3 and that lasted till eternity.
I'm really struggling to get over the 100k IP/s ... and i'm seeing the OP talk about hopping from 800IP/s to 75M IP/s...
wondering what i'm doing wrong... tried several variations of what you guys suggest and I can't seem to ever get over 100-120k IP/s...
Got all challenges around 10-30s ... Infinity upgrades at 17:1,2,3 ... Automations at:
Promote : 15lv/5s
Prestige : 0, 5, 0 (tried 1 mill, tried 100k, 5 seems to be the best so far...)
Really really appreciate any suggestions u might have to improve :) still testing variations :D
