Game keeps freezing

Every time I try to do the egg in the first part of Cafe Mawson the screen freezes. I can hear the game still running and responding to my inputs but the visuals aren't updating and I have to force close the game. Bummer because it's otherwise been a great time so far.

EDIT: My save file is fully softlocked. Each time I reload it seems like it takes less time for the screen to freeze - it's at the point that I only get a couple of seconds and can't even leave the area. Really hoping this gets fixed quickly.

EDIT 2: Started a new file and fed everyone on the rooftops, at the pier, and at the prison (26 in total). Went to Mawson, started the first egg and immediately froze again.

Same thing happened to me and on stream I was bummed it’s a fun game. Lmk if anyone has a solution

Would any of you be able to screen record and upload somewhere? Trying to fix this issue but I can't replicate it so I don't know what is causing it. That and some specs would be helpful

I am having the same issue. Game crashes whenever I try to cook and/or interact with the people who make you cook one beer and one egg. I can still hear the game running in the background, it responds to my mouse movements, but the screen is entirely frozen, and it sometimes just crashes entirely, most the time I end up alt-f4ing

Well I changed my PC and now it's working so it must be a performance issue I guess ?

Same issue here so it isn't fixed yet. Might be a graphical issue since my monitors (not just the one the game is on) blink off and on for a split second not long after it freezes.
