Why did valve delete this game?

Does anyone understand why VALVe did remove this from steam? I really enjoyed it and waited for my friends to buy it until they removed it right of steam.

It's a consequence of Hasbro vs Atari lawsuit. Hopefully, NWN2 should be back on steam soon.

They need to add the first NWN on Steam imho. This one is kind've...bleh.

They have NWN on GoG.com for $10. It's not Steam, but you get some extra stuff with it.

GOG also fixed the multiplayer so it should still work fine. My buddy and I were able to get multiplayer on the first Baldur's Gate running just fine on Win 7. Google is thy friend.

The multiplayer works fine on this for internet games. There are some great persistant world servers with some AWESOME rp. Steam really needs to bring this back so I can get my friends to buy it too. lol

I love NWN2 - Original NWN was meh, but it'd be cool to still have both of them available to people, who don't have them yet
