Way to make the game run on Windows 8?

I have been trying to play this game for such a long time.
It worked on 7 but always crashed whenever I had any serious mages in the party because my graphics couldn't support it. But now that I have a new laptop that could support it I am running Windows 8. So if anyone knows how to make it work that would be helpful!

While I have not tried it on a laptop nor would I ever play any game on a laptop as far as Windows 8 goes all I did was install the game and play. On my three self built rigs all running Windows 8 x64 the game runs great. All of them running 5760x1080 max/ultra settings.

My guess would be your laptop simply does not have what it takes to run the game as it was never ment to be run on a laptop what so ever just like most other games. They are ment to be run on desktops with dedicated GPU's. Buy or build a desktop if you want to play games.
