- Hover over your name up top.
- Games
- Click on the game (the white part where the name is)
- Click on "More" (It's in the top set of tabs)
- Click on Serial Keys.
Your serial keys are listed there, you just need to locate the nwncdkey file in your instillation drive and type them in.
That being said, i followed your instructions to see the keys but it says 'keys depleted' but its possible they are not necessary anymore as all three campaigns were available to start a game on.
For the record I own the Steam version as well, and my old save actually ported over into gog, automatically. Not sure if that may have something to do with it. But the third campaign, Mysteries of Westgate was now avaiable when in the past it wasnt on the steam version.
They are not needed for the base game no, but honestly the best part of NWN2 is the modding community, personally I play on BGTSCC and love it, I wouldn't go back to a singleplayer game full time again.
When i select multiplayer (via the gog version) I still get the prompt for a bioware account, (which I have) and it lets me log in, only that it says their master server is down. And it comes up that the gamespy servers are not up, which as we know went down many years ago. There are also options for starting a new campaign (which lets me select the complete editions extra campaigns), joining a game/direct play and things like that. So it appears i can still host and join games even without a key (maybe it remembers the keys from my steam version/bioware account). I even get the option to host the last expansion, mysteries of westgate. Which did not come out on steam.
So i'm wondering if I even need a gog key anymore? Given that most the features seem to be available. Other than the now defunct gamespy and biowares master server.
If you want to try an online mod server please feel free to add me and I can set you up.
It's essentially like an mmo (on a smaller scale) but they're all fairly heavy RP servers.
Lots to keep us occupied until Baldurs Gate 3 gets completed :)
It's really easy to set up, your keys are in which is a big step. You just need to pick a user name, any will do and you can connect. I'll link the discord and website below.
If you're on NWN2, I also recommend the Client extender, allows for more fun stuff to go on in your game at once. Just google NWN2 Client Extender and then drag it into your instillation folder, make a short cut to their exe file and boom, where ever you want it to be!.
