Guardian Ruins - Song Portal/Quest Bug

I have beaten the first shadow reaver encounter outside West Harbor in the Guardian Ruins. After defeating the reaver, dialogue with Zhjaeve is supposed to trigger, the quest for the ritual of purification updates and the song portal inside the ruins activates.

The dialogue did not trigger for me, and now the quest and portal are broken.

Do I have to load my last save before this bug from 3 hours ago, or is there some way I can fix this issue?

I am having a similar issue; I'm at Guardian Ruins; I had all the dialogs with the creatures there, fought and defeated them, Zhjaeve told me something, but the Song Portal is not active, I can't do anything.

I unlocked the door and went back to the other exit from the swamps, and the "world link" portal there isn't active either. I can't go anywhere!! What do I do??

I'm on Windows 7 64bit, using NWN2 version 1.023 (1765).

Well, restored to a previous position, then did everything just the same AFAICT, but this time, after the battle in the Guardian Ruins, the other Song Portal was active, and we were able to travel just fine. No idea what was wrong the first time.

This thread is getting old now and this is kind of a "me too", but for anyone encountering this and wondering if someone has found a solution yet, it appears that there isn't one, I just encountered this myself for the first time after literally hundreds of playthroughs, and there still seems to be no solution other than to revert to a save made prior to entering the swamp. I'm using a stock 1.023(1765) build with no modifications.
