Yep, playing almost every day. Only issue I had was the res problem. Had to go into the settings file and set the high res manually.

I have a feeling Beamdog is going to make this their next project or perhaps already is working on it, not that they would say so this early. Of course, I could easily be wrong but it would make for a logical next step for them assuming there are not any legal issues or lost code issues to deal with. It still blows my mind that someone could be so careless as to lose the code for Icewind Dale II. A project involving that kind of time, effort and money being lost is truly hard to believe but it was. I still hope it turns up somehow but if wishes were horses, you know?

Meanwhile, as for the remark above about Baldur's Gate III? If there is any company best positioned and with the talent to pull off a worthy successor to the previous games, it is Larian Studios I would say. I don't think they will disappoint us with BG3 but I do think they are going to take their sweet time doing it right. They have said as much indicating that they intend to take as much time and care as necessary to get it right because anything less would be a travesty basically. Those are not their exact words but their meaning was clear in something I read from them fairly recently. I'm sure they already have some info on their site and forums if they have them but I've not bothered looking where it is so far off for now I'd imagine.

Oh, and so far on the current release of Win10 as of this writing it is running fine here with no fooling around to get it to do so. I saw this post and figured I'd respond but actually I am now off to see how I can hopefully move the one module missing from the Platinum release over from the GOG Complete version I own. I'd rather play it in Steam myself but I want the whole thing because I remain blissfully in denial of the fact I will never live long enough to play everything I''d like to. :spacehamster:

so yes works on win/10

What patch is this? I take it this is a community created patch? I'd gladly go for any fixes to be had if you'd be so kind as to reply with who is doing it and I can search up the site or whatnot. I have only poked around a bit so far in the GOG install, being busy with other stuff presently.

hehe NWN has alot of issues getting fixed in their next release... its just waiting for the damn thing that hurts the most..

i predict once the console release of NWN sales come in beamdog might and most likely will make a run to buy NWN2.

I hope so. That would be great. Because it isn't really possible (apparently for me) to purchase the Infinity Engine, etc. RPGs too many times, I will of course be buying all the releases for my Xbox One X now that I have read some reviews and feel confident I'll enjoy them from the comfy couch after adjusting to the UI changes they made to accommodate playing with a console and controller. I have lost count of how many times I have bought these games over the years. At least they are the only ones I have ever done this with. I also feel they are the only ones deserving of the spending to keep updating for the passage of time, new operating systems, etc.

I think an overhaul of NWN 2 would be great and would love to see it come to console also. I hope console sales are good for Beamdog to give them the money they need to keep doing the good work they do, despite the inevitable issues along the way.
