Hey, today we proudly present a new version of Treasure Island - 8.1.3

Please note, Trinity will be available in the next update (in around 2 weeks)

Features and Bugfixes:

Studio Mode: Save and load improvements, you should be able to set up a scene, props and cameras and retain the state and settings upon saving and loading and play the movie right away.
Car: We now have an Arcade-Style approach by default, but you can switch to a more realistic one in the Settings. I really like the Arcade mode 😊
Multiple bugs were fixed with the Car (floating, orientation...) . And you can now go to the menu when driving the car! I missed that a lot.
Optimisations: We have made a first pass on optimisations for better settings detection, memory handling, and some optimisations on the island. After a lot of profiling, we found a couple of major culprits that were very easy to fix. For example, the Flag on the Post-Office caused the Performance to tank when you were on the Town Square... Such a tiny thing causing that much trouble... 🫠
Proper Japanese Translation
You can enter the menu when you are in Dialogues
Some male could be replaced by female in studio mode when they shouldn't
Auto Detection for Graphics Settings now works a lot better! We did some intense testing with as many Hardware configurations as we could get our hands on.
We added another Pose with Guys to Studio Mode (Reverse Cowgirl)
Various smaller bugfixes

Known Issues:

DLSS 4: still Work-In-Progress. We had/still have a bit to rework the whole "Game Detects what Specs you have". But the good thing is that we can then also plug in the AMD/ATI Equivalent of DLSS a lot easier. We will most likely have that implemented next Week. That will also increase the performance!
Quest logs are not updating properly
Possible save and load inconsistencies
The car does not interact with water yet
T-posing in water after dialogues on rare occasions.
Rare occasions of not being able to advance the dialogue.

Misc/Upcoming:

We consider Chapter 1 pretty much done now and will start upgrading to the newer Version of the Unreal Engine (5.5.4 to be precise). That´s going to be a very big chunk of work, but it will also help a great deal with better Performance & new Features (customisation!).
Things that will be added overall to the game, and appear also in Chapter 1, will also be added soon. For example, some Tourists wandering around would be nice. And that you can have Sex with them🥰And more Animals (Land & Sea)!
And of course: starting with Chapter 2 Development!

Really great but..

Hi, I really like the idea and the game but there is one thing that is a bit destroying my experience - the cXmshot animation is really poor - I find this very disappointing because I always loved all cXm animations in the puppetmaster releases - was it not able to implement it in higher quality? this is just looking like pixels shooting. Is it planned to rework this? Is there a setting were I can change this? This is really killing the fun for me from the besides that excellent ♥♥♥ scenes.....

Here is the complete list! As you can see we have been very busy! 💪😊

Features:

You can now rest in Brittany's bedroom to pass time by interacting with the bed
Added Futa/Female game setting choice at the start of the game
Futas will have their bits visible at all times everywhere they should be, and Females will have it replaced by strap-on when genitals are required, and nothing when no genitals are required.
Added ability to change futa setting from game menu.
First implementation of save/load in studio mode (Work in progress!) : ten slots which you can save / overwrite / delete. Ability to load different levels. Option to start new or load from main menu.
First implementation of the new car : much more optimized, can be saved and loaded, and we have more control over it. (Work in progress!)
You can now use the button on bottom left to enable/disable the gizmo to move things around in Studio Mode.
Damage numbers now show up. Added settings to show/hide damage numbers and score numbers.

Bugfixes:

Fixed some localisation issues.
Fixed a bug where score and timer would not properly display if you did multiple quests involving them.
Fixed player orientation sometimes being wrong when starting a dialogue.
Fixed a rare bug that could prevent advancing dialogue if you restarted it too quickly after finishing one. Raised swimming pool surface level.
Fixed a bug creating duplicate quest logs. Fixed Lonna questlines persistency. Improved her dialogue fluidity. It's now easier to find out you can hunt with her, and you can start the hunting quest over and over.
Fixed a duplicate dialogue leftover at the temple entrance
Fixed Aisha's presence at the Muddler not being saved. You can now date her multiple times.
Fixed Aisha scene stalling/freezing
Fixed Basil disappearing if you load the game during the investigation scene.
Fixed duplicate Jenny if you bang her with the bathroom door open. Fixed a rock missing collision on the island.

Known issues:

Save and load in studio : animations out of sync (switching character fixes it), some settings not carrying over, camera system and movies not accounted for.
Save and load in game : still some bugs reported being progressively tackled. New team members on board to better approach the process. The more you use the save and load, the louder the notifications for quests. Working on it
T-posing in water after dialogues in rare occasions.

I get a lot of crashes (black screens)

I get a lot of crashes (always a black screen) when i try to play this game. I think i have a decent pc (3 years old). I think it easily meats the recommended configuration. When is episode 2 releasing?

I barely got two hours out this game and most of the map is empty only like the main 10% is useful in anyway. Also the screenshots show combat but when i get in the temple it sends me back to the start if the mission saying episode 2 isn't out yet which should be false advertising on the steam screenshots part....

I'm invested to the story we get so far but episode 1 is way too short for the price even on deal but hopefully episode 2 comes soon. Anyway to the positives being a decent set up to what will be a NSFW third person shooter with exploration, The scene creator mode is neat, the scenes in general in the story are very good, the inclusion of futa and futa on male is an appreciated touch too. In the games current state tho i wished they did an initial release with a little more content. Overall 6.5/10.

This is a non exhaustive list, as some smaller things got changed on the way

You can advance dialogue with spacebar again. Added a small delay to prevent selection a choice by accident by skipping too quickly.
Localization: Russian and Ukrainian languages are now both supported. Fixed some symbols not displaying for some languages.
Controller and MKB focus issues should be resolved : Redesign of the buttons for dialogue choices. Fixed a bug that wouldn't let MKB rebind mappable keys.
Fixed a bug that would move the camera down until crouching when coming out of swimming.
Flower quests now all reward you with money.
Fixed some positions not having audio.
Main quest : You will now get kicked outside of the temple if you are inside during closing hours. Improvement to save and load.
Studio Mode : Fixed some positions shooting out during climax when there was nothing to shoot from.
Fixed an issue with out of quest bounds widget not disappearing when completing a quest outside the bounds.
Fixed Aisha cutscenes freezing the game in some instances. Keep an eye out for more cutscenes doing that!
Muddler night event : Improvement to the save and load, fixed the drinks not being coutned in some instances.

Known issues :

You can have louder sounds for starting, progressing or completing quests if you use the save and load a lot. We are working on it!
Car : The car is going under a complete overhaul for us to have our own system and be ready to have fun customizable various vehicles. Bear with us while it's buggy (can;t be saved, weapons floating etc)
Damage numbers do not show up in the game when they show up in engine.

It is early access and a bit rough around the edges but surprisingly playable and stable on my rig, even on epic quality (5800X3D+4080s).

Characters are nice looking and nicely animated for a game of this budget, kudos to the devs !

The large open world is a bit samey and empty but it didn't bother me considering the scope and EA status.

I'm looking forward to the next updates !!
