People piss me off.

This is literally my first time writing in steam discussions. People are entitled to their own opinions.
I don't think this game is the best in the installment, I'll start with that
But it's certainly not as bad as everyone says it is.
I feel like Class of 09 was ruined by people who just want to say "wow! Nicole's so me!" in an edgy way by TikTok users who think its cool to ♥♥♥ themselves and chronically online.
I feel like this game presented content that is harder to go "wow that's so me!" to, and everyone got upset at it.
I think that the creator of this game did exactly what they wanted to do. Create something that disturbs people, and that can't be watered down.
That's the point, isn't it? Its a reflection of society. So why should we water it down?

I didn't play the game but I watched a playthrough, and I literally think it was bad on purpose because SBN3 was pissed his fanbase was a bunch of weirdos.

I will say personally that foot fetish content doesn't bug me out as it, understandably, does the rest of the playerbase. The story has longer cutscenes in exchange for less endings and routes than its predecessors. Unlike Nicole, a morally dubious protagonist, Jecka is a protagonist who, while misguided in her conduct at times, is much more sympathetic, as she is primarily motivated in not being hit by her father and going to college. It kind of works against the game, then, that these extended cutscenes linger on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up exchanges between Jecka and her abusers. Even to get to the game's best ending, it's a lot of uncomfortable focus on Mr. Katz just making Jecka feel powerless. There's getting a point across, but there's also the game just being ♥♥♥♥♥♥-up in a way that isn't even funny. It's just sad. In the very worst case, the FYE route has pretty much nothing thought-provoking to take away from it. It's the most extreme example, but, it's such a blatantly awful ending.

Yes, I can agree that there some things that can be taken away from this game besides "Jecka deserves more!" and "Ew, foot stuff!", but it's silly to write off this backlash as a bunch of people just being overly offended when they had the stomach for all the messed up topics presented by the first two games. That's a lot of consumers dissatisfied with the product they've purchased. It's not just some form of contrarianism or people "not getting it."

I laughed my ass off at all three games. While Nicole being a psychotic dysgenic mutant to everyone around her is really funny, it wears thin so it's nice they changed things up here.

I'd also like to know: I hear that a lot, but I'm not a homosexual wahmen so the thought process behind that is completely alien to me. They're funny as hell games that I came to read because of the 12 minute animation they put out on youtube, which was also hilarious. What's the issue even?

I agree that this game wasn't as bad. In fact it was just like the other games, only not as many paths to take. I still enjoyed though. Hopefully we get a full season of the Class of 09 anime after they managed to get out the pilot recently.
