No more gum?

This game's world has has either voted to abolish all chewing gum or The Punk's "Vegan Lifestyle" had prohibited me from finding any. Has anyone else found this to be true?

I understand gum isn't always vegan and that's probably even more true for the early 2000's setting. But The Punk's trait says no meat or dairy which... probably shouldn't include gum? Maybe it's the gelatin which can come from animal bones but that seems like a stretch if you ask me.

Also, I forgot to mention we can still purchase eggs and chicken wings with the The Punk's vegan lifestyle trait so if that's true, it isn't consistent.

So eggs would be fine. Never noticed chicken wings myself, but if you are right then yeah, that's an overlook.

No, the flavor text does say vegan. So it still seems weird to me.
