As there such a thing as native resolution/window size?

This might be stupid question, but I found the fullscreen to be a bit too large considering level of detail chosen for the pixel art.
So I tried windowed mode, but that is flexible and cannot be set to some fixed "default" size.
So is there something like an ideal resolution/ window size for the game, that devs intended for the game?

To force a specific resolution for a Steam game, right-click the game in your Steam library, select "Properties," then "Set Launch Options." In the launch options field, enter -w [width] -h [height] where [width] is the desired width and [height] is the desired height. For example, to set a 1280x720 resolution, you would enter -w 1280 -h 720.
