(Major Spoilers) Tips on getting a specific hitchhiker
Please share any tips you have on this. Alot of the achievements center around completing quests for specific hitchhikers. You might find yourself in a situation (like me) where you're driving for hours hoping to get that one specific person.

There are 13 different possible hitchhikers (counting the punk and dog as one). As far as I know, it is completely random who you pick up, where you pick them up, and how often you pick them up. Also, I think if you run into a given hitchhiker and refuse to take them,
the probability of encountering them again is the same. Please comment if you think otherwise on any of those points.

All that aside, here's small tips I can offer:
-You seem to ALWAYS pick up a hitchhiker on the second trip of the game. I've done like 7 runs and this has always been the case, starting from rehab or home. You *could* just restart over and over to try to get a desired hitchhiker- getting another chance within 2 road trips.
-Obviously, if a hitchhiker is in your car, you won't encounter them on the road the next time. The sedan has 4 other seats allowing you to reduce the pool of people via collecting 4 passengers over time.
-Some hitchhikers have quests that aren't game ending and may be completed, removing them from the game. This includes the Bride, The Kid, The Convict, and the Punk *although* you will be stuck with the dog indefinitely if you do the Punk's quest. IF you want to do all the achievements, consider doing all these quests on one long epic run (you got 3 months). Every quest completed narrows the pool.
-I think some hitchhikers will leave you for good if you fail their timed quest such as the Hiker. I know he can be picked up again if you bring him to the mountain base, but I think he doesn't come back if you fail.
