Are the prologue and full game 2 different games?

I partially played the prologue, should I finish before starting the full? Do any saves carry over?

The prologue is included in the full version. Saves doesn't carry over because of the technical nuances - we've reworked a few things since the prologue. Story-wise, you wouldn't miss anything, and we're releasing a big performance patch for the full version
soon, so, if you're interested, we can recommend starting the full version without hesitation.
