Hiring Assistants?

Hey all, so, one thing it mentions in Tavern tier 7 and above, is the ability to hire assistants.

but i cannot for the life of me find out how to do this. Help please? I have the fairy upgrades, but its bugging me because id like someone to help me clean or fetch wood.

I think only fairies can work for you. fairies are the assistants it's talkin about. make sure to be well stocked on magic fairy dust or they will stop their job and go back to their little house til they can eat. I think wood is way too heavy for them to carry.

yeah I noticed this too. On level 10 it says you can hire an assistant?

Fairies it's your assistants. Waiters, barmans, cooks and dishwashers for now

Why are there pictures of tavern wenches if you cannot hire tavern wenches?

This is my big point. Fairies are cool and all... but like...id gladly take a hit to how much gold im getting if it pays for wenches to allow me to process more overall a day.

Hopefully the devs read this post and it saves me making a new one. I would also like different assistants or at least make it so fairies could gather water and wood. Even if we have to take the time to chop it, we can put it in the wood holder and they can get it when needed, they are magical after all and don't need strength. It makes it easier for me to keep up with special guests, bandits and decorating as well as cleaning the floors and toilet. Or at the very least add extra buckets so when water is drawn, 3 or more are pulled at once.

Yeah I'm having a fun time with the game for sure but I'm not really a fan of the whole fairy system thing. Seems like it was a cop out to keep from making human assistants which would have needed more graphics and more animations. I wanted maids and servers and such.

I would honestly like to be able to see and talk to the fairy helpers too

I kicked it off my wishlist (after playing an enjoying the demo and the prologue both) because of that.
