Does Anybody Have This Problem?

Refering to {LINK REMOVED}this guide, (Not the entire guide, of course) there's a part name 'The Prince Of Treachery'

There's a Woodsman's Axe in front of where the Weaponsmit was in the tent area. Near the entrance the Outskirts is the Lord of Logaros. He gives you "The Lord of Logaros" quest. If you go across the bridge to the southern part of the Marketplace you'll find a Medevan Hatchet in front of the Armorer's shop. There's also a Guardian Heater in front of the weaponsmith's shop in the southwestern corner

If one is willing to scour the whole map of Lenele Marketplace, searching for items, (Like I always do) one will notice that there's an area with lots of tents/wagons scattering around near a ledge. (The one with a river below just next to a bridge leads to the Lenele Old City) There are two items near those tents/wagons. One is on the floor which can be normally be picked up and the other one is somewhere near and guess what, it's on the roof of one of those tents! I tried bunch of methods to get that item from the roof from moving Joseph around like a mad cow while pressing the 'X' button on my keyboard indefinitely to decompiling the game for that item but still to no avail. Can anyone help me on how to get this item? (The one on the roof)
