The Big Autumn 2015 Update
Hi Z Fans!

We've been busy working on a bunch of fixes and improvements to the game deep within the Bitmap Brothers' original engine and we're happy to announce our latest update is now live:
http://steamcommunity.com/games/275510/announcements/detail/746830282379612561

We've looked in to major issues affecting players most recently and hope those who couldn't even run the game can now play without issue. There were issues in particular with Windows 10 GPU drivers and Intel GPUs which we have addressed.

We're on the look out for further bugs and issues people are experiencing and will follow up with smaller fixes in the coming months as and when we discover and fix any issues.

If you encounter any problems please feel free to reply below (and if you encounter a crash, please email the Steam minidump file to support@ticktockgames.com). We'll try our best to look in to issues and fix them ASAP.

Hope you enjoy the update and look we look forward to receiving feedback and further suggestions for improvements :)

I spent the weekend looking in to the strange resolution issues some players have been encountering. I found some issues with DPI scaling in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, and also found the game was incompatible with NVIDIA's Dynamic Super Resolution.

We've just patched the game to fix these issues. Changes in this patch include:

- Fixed issue where mouse was locked to the top left corner.
- Fixed issue where the game rendered off-screen.
- Fixed issue where the game would launch in a very small window.
- Fixed issues with NVIDIA Dynamic Super Resolution.
- Added 2560x1440 window resolution for high res monitor users.
- Made F12 key hide the HUD and Mouse cursor (for Steam screenshots).
Hi devs

Thanks for all the work!! Btw, would it be possible to get a little bit more zoom out? I play on 3440x1440 and I would like to zoom out a bit more.

Thx & best

Thanks :) The current maximum zoom has already been increased from the original game. We felt it gave enough of an overview of the battle without taking you too far away from the action.

That being said, I'm not sure what would happen to the field of view and the zoom level if you run with such a wide resolution (as we've only tested 16:9, 16:10, 4:3 etc.).

Hi Bytrix

Thanks for your reply

Not too far away from the action is cool, but on a 21:9 screen it would be cool - especially for RTS - to see a bit more of the battlefield, not less. So it would be cool to have at least the same distance to the battlefield like you have in 16:9 or 4:3, just with a bit more side-view.

Would it be a big thing to add a slider to the option menu, where people can adjust a bit more zoom out (150% f.e.).

Because: there are also some more screens coming like mine -> see http://pcdiy.asus.com/2015/06/asus-34-ultrawide-qhd-ips-219-curved-g-sync-monitor/

Best regards

The thing is, I don't think this has anything to do with 'zoom'. I think we need to adjust the field of view based on aspect ratio (thus, you would get to see more on your wide monitor then). I'll test it on my machine with a wide aspect window and see what needs done :)

Oh yes! Thank you so much - you're great!! Would be cool to get more FOV!

If you want me to test - I'm here :)

My only worry is that you might see off the edge of the map with a wider FOV.. but I'll try it out and hopefully have a 'fix' for you soon :)

annoying that this was last update. Still suffering crashes on my end randomly whilst playing. Very frustrating

I currently have windows 7 64bit and lastest nvidia drivers (i am running legacy as well) does this now run as it did not before, yet Z (the first game) did? which kinda baffled me as to why the 1st worked and teh sequel did not.
