objective : leave the house. (I play on easy)
I used the main door (I have remove the planks previously) and there is no more grid to block it. My screen went very very dark but I remember the police car is just in front of the house. And I fall down and I die ? I retry, same, main door, no dark screen I see very well now, I go to the car police and a message "go around, you're going in the wrong direction".
I guess I have to go out of the house by an other way, but ... I'm already out of the house ;)

Can you send me a screenshot here or by e-mail to [e-mail]? After leaving the house (child's cry), a cutscene should appear?

Ladder Issue

I had an other bug, at the beginning of chapter 2, but that didn't prevent me to continue to play.

I had an issue with the ladder it seems the water level never dropped enough for me to go down.
I have restarted my game (at 5:00 in the video) ladder works now but I had no more interaction icon.
I have restarted again and all was good.

The interaction icon issue appears frequently when I reload.

I updated the game. If the cutscene doesn't start, you have to load a save from a few seconds (before you went to the bathroom - the baby crying). More info: https://steamcommunity.com/games/2754490/partnerevents/preview/4158592372448851689.

There will be another update today or tomorrow and I will check the ladder issue.

I think I found a bug, but not 100% sure. In the upstairs bathroom with the boarded up door, I didn't remove all of the boards so the door could open (I didn't see a reason to since I could just walk back around through the bedroom to the hallway). The game tells me that the door is locked from the other side.

Now, I'm in Chapter 2 (after the house transitions to being covered in blood and gore) and I can't open the door to the bathroom to get the final copper plate. I watched two other playthroughs and they removed all of the wooden planks on the bathroom door in Chapter 1 and the door opens in Chapter 2.

That's the only thing I could think of as to why the door isn't opening.

The save files get corrupted or something, it loads in a death screen.
Everything after the rotating spikes loads me like that after the.. "glitched guy" kills me.

I just reloaded from a previous save, unboarded the bathroom door and was then able to open the bathroom door after the transition.

So thank you for the multiple autosaves so I didn't have to start from the beginning.

OK thanks for the information. If you want, you can send me your save game (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Whispering Lane\Whispering Lane_Data\Data\SavedGame) and I will check where the problem was.

I'm having an issue with the controller where I open a door and my character won't move at all. I can pause and unpause the game to go back to normal but it's been happening constantly since I'm on the train now
