question about 2 achievements?

(I finished the roottrees are dead but not roottreemania yet) How many pieces of evidence are there for loose ends: part one? I found 38 pieces and I cannot find more.

And for voracious reader, can you find all the periodals in the roottrees are dead or are there new onces in roottreemania? otherwise I found 6 so far in the first part of the game

I can't answer the first question as I've not earned that one myself, but Voracious Reader requires you to play Roottreemania. I don't think you can miss them if you want to complete the tree.
