Stuck on two names in Roottreemania (SPOILERS)

Hi there; I seem to be stuck at the end of Roottreemania, and the only new stuff I can dredge up is getting heavily into revelations that seem to be Top Secret Envelope territory, so the game seems to think I should go the freaking final boss room, already. There are two figures from early on, however, that have remained unconfirmed through multiple rounds of lock-ins, so something's off.

They're Mary-Beth Clementine and Bess Williams, whom I have as Mary-Beth Clementine/Musician/playing guitar photo and Elizabeth (or sometimes Bess) Williams/Author/statue photo. Mary-Beth's referenced in the Basket Baby SpiderSearch as a "Mary" (though this is an alias), and Bess is referenced variously as "Beth" or "Elizabeth" by others. Do I need to play around with various combos of Elizabeth/Bess/Beth and Mary-Beth/Mary to get the lock-in (the three other unlocked figures I'm fairly confident I have correct), or am I missing info I need to scout out? (If I am, I'd appreciate vague instead of specific hints.)

(ETA: I do see that 6Pieces implies that Bess was also Elias's secretary, and that seems to have happened past when she wrote Family Man. Her bios note she wrote other books, though, so I'm not clear if secretary or author were her last gig.)

On the older: Read Lauren's new Diary entry again and connect it with the 6Pieces info on the woman.

More specifically: The description of Gwyneth

On the younger: Look into her music to find her actual name

More specifically: The Old Rugged Cross

What part (first name, last name, occupation, photo) is wrong: Older: First Name and Younger: Last Name

OK, what I found paid off! In the shower, I remembered that I hadn't gotten the achievement for hearing all the musical clues, and recalled that I'd heard tracks from all the other musicians in the family tree, but not Mary-Beth. I thought the key, then, was to find an album or mp3 (mp2 in those days? wav?) of her work, so I started putting some of her hymn names into Modern Music Monthly, hoping one would be an album title. That did it! Well, it didn't bring up an mp3/2/etc., but I did get her original name. A bit more futzing around, and I'm in the endgame. (Still no achievement, though, so I'm still missing something on that front..)

And...um, wow, this is a really daunting endgame compared to the original, isn't it?
