FLAKE The Legend of Snowblind is a game about Flake, a creature made of snow who ends up on a planet of eternal night and snow. That’s how the adventure begins.

Essentially this is a classic point & click game so you should be ready for LucasArts’ and some other references :)

As for the upsides: more or less classic point & click in-game controls (the modern one, not that SCUMM Engine-like), fully voiced characters and extremely low Lunar Logic™ level, I only found maybe a couple of examples of that during ~7 hours of gameplay. The storyline may not be overcomplicated, though it raises some questions and has some funny twists.

As for what could be improved, I’d add the ability to pause the game cause some of the dialogues can literally last for minutes, which was OK in the 90’s but today many devs try to avoid that. Also I saw someone writing about the inventory only showing 5 items at a time, and would agree that it may not be very convenient. But those are minor flaws and they don’t affect the game experience too much.

Overall, I would recommend the game to the slow-pace classic style point & click adventure games fans.

Wow, what a wonderful ride as a special (and rather cute) adventurer in this game! Flake has a lot of not easy tasks to fulfill in a beautifully drawn world of ice and fire. Not more - one has to experience !

We find a lot of features, we loved in classics, for example the word duels of Monkey Island. A well told story with a cute and clever hero ... don't miss this gem!

I am really enjoying this one...very cute point and clicker.
Didn't finish it yet...but I wanted to share my impressions as soon as possible.

Graphic is nice and colorful, I love the hand drawn adventures.
Characters are interesting and very well voiced...not annoying as sometimes.
Calm and snowy atmosphere...feels really like playing an oldie point and clicker.
It seem that it has really broad story and integrate details...promising much more to come.

Seems that most of the work was done by just one person...I find this fascinating.

I am genuinely hopeful this story will continue. This was an absolutely wonderful game. The graphics were great, I loved this soft voices. I hardly ever notice the voice work, but this was top notch. The play-through was mostly intuitive. I really can't rank this any higher.

So glad adventure game geek did an interview with this games creator ,so much creativity and passion he made a paper mache 3d model of his game world ,in addition too sculptures and drawings.I might not of heard of it otherwise., the art,animation,puzzles are all great.the world building so unique.Its so sweet and funny and has full voice acting and nice music. I'm looking forward to seeing more in the future.

This game stole my heart :D I found out about Flake from the developer, and initially thought it was going to be a cutesy adventure aimed more for kids. After playing it however I can say that it's much more than a kids game, and in fact the story and characters had much more depth than I expected. We play as Flake, a strange white creature who emerges from a crystal and doesn't know where we came from. We also don't know what we're made from exactly, and depending on our actions Flake gradually changes either into water or ice. There's a fantastic cast of characters to meet along the way, and plenty of puzzles to solve that feel organic to the environment, which is suitably snowy for the most part until we find our way to other times and places...But no spoilers here, go play this game and discover the Legend of Snowblind for yourself, it's a charming game that captures the spirit of classic point n click adventures!

This game is the cutest ever, and I can tell a lot of work went into it. I love it! It reminds me of my childhood Humogous Games. 100% recommend.
