Head Tracking support

Old War Thunder Sim player here. Uninstalled WT a couple of years ago because of all the BS.

Just heard about this game and it looks cool. I have a head tracking setup (TrackHat clip with OpenTrack). Any chance head tracking will be supported or is VR headset mandatory?

That's a shame. I'm an avid sim player, but head tracking only. I have no desire for VR. I know I'm only 1 person, but I'm sure there are many others :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll want to expand your player base at some point and will incorporate regular head tracking. Cheers!

i mean, they already got the rest with War Thunder... or at least the rest that'd consider playing one of their games...

i mean, they already got the rest with War Thunder... or at least the rest that'd consider playing one of their games...

Unfortunately with War Thunder you have to contend with bombers flying 3rd person using mouse aiming. Unhistorical lineups. Captured planes ruining immersion. Premiums allowed with too low battle ratings. Dots that don't render sometimes. Planes becoming invisible as you're looking at them. Etc.

i mean, there's a drawback for everything. Alternatively, if you got some money to spend (seriously, the monetization with DCS is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wild), DCS is great.
