If you enjoyed AP:K'43 you will enjoy this, in fact you'll enjoy it more.
There are still the occasional moments of tedium, but the rest of it more than compensates.
Sales seem to be pretty regular, 75 - 80% off, so it's worth waiting for that, the base game comes with plenty to keep you occupied until the next sale, unless money is no option, in which case buy the lot.
Thanks
The next game is called Mius Front. It seems to be past its due release date so I haven't really taken much notice of it but I think I read somewhere that would be different again and you could pile even more units into a battle.
By the way if you like bigger battles, in quick mode I have a scenario I like to set up that involves me sending about 30 T-34 and KV tanks plus infantry and armoured cars into German defensive positions with various PAK, Tigers and other armour I have assigned them. I grab all the Russians and send them in a line assault formation and it's quite a spectacle on my fast, new PC and with the high resolution textures pack installed. Even that much Russian amour gets cut to ribbons and it's hardly a great strategy (but maybe not so far from a historical outcome) and I do nothing by way of issuing any follow-up commands. I just like to set it running and watch...!
