About: Trader Jho quest

So, I have the "Smooches" card, but I need a dupe to give to This guy named Jho.
I googled around some and found out that you get one Smooches card when fighting a mole behind Dr. Orels house, and one when you beat Kronocolus the second. I can't remember from which one I didn't get the Smooches card, but it must be Kronoculus! Now I have to play the game AGAIN ( I was planning to but I would rush it with Candy corn on, now I can't because I have to gather all the cards again... )

I read up on it before starting and it seems the first smoochies is 100% drop from a boss, and the second I believe there's 3 bosses as well as a bunch of enemies that all have a 50% chance of dropping it, so it's possible to miss it just by essentially flipping the wrong side of a coin x number of times in a row. The crestwailer enemies in the secret warehouse sub-area are supposed to have a 50% chance so you're recommended to make a save and backup when you reach that area incase you don't get one off them. That's what I'll be doing

@sweetdelete, did you ever get the card to drop? Spent about an hour killing crestwailers inside the lab and reloading and killing them again, trying to get it to drop. no dice. Spent about another hour grinding any and all enemies surrounding the compound trying to get one of them to drop the card (saw that in another thread), still no dice. What the fu*king fu*k. this is a cruel joke.

I backed up a save after I had killed about half of the crestwailers in the lab so I can come back to it later I guess, but for now I feel like I have no choice, but to continue with the game. :'( Pretty jacked that there's THREE achievements tied to one bugged quest. :/

I actually solved my problem! I just went to the warehouse where a lot of crestwailers existed, so I killed some of them and got the card! :) Don't give up! I only got the candycron-achievment left now ^_^

Don't worry! The quest wasn't bugged, the card has some % chance of dropping by Crestwailers. Keep it up :)

Hey sweetdelete, how long did it take you to get the card to drop from crestwailers? I've redone the area at least 8 or 9 times and still no smoochies card. Granted, my last save is from when I was about halfway through the lab so I'm only doing 3 battles each time, but still. This is feeling pretty futile. Either I'm doing/I've done something wrong or this drop percentage is really low. Could what costumes I'm wearing affect the drop chance? Or maybe the fact that I haven't yet battled every monster outside at least one time? I can't help, but wonder if I've triggered something in the game to tell it to no longer drop the card :/

I reallllly want to just get this done so I can keep continuing on with the game. The game was super awesome until this. :/ And this is probably the hardest I've ever had to work to get an achievement in a double-fine game (except the multiplayer achievements in brutal legend, which I never bothered with), which usually have pretty easy, straightforward achievements.

Hoooo boy! Yes! I decided to just continue playing and the first crestwailer I fought in the DENTAL COMPOUND, dropped it!! Didn't realize it was possible to get after finishing the lab. Was under the impression that the only enemies that could drop the card after Kronoculus were the crestwailers in the lab where you get the hot dog suit, but that turned out to not be the case.

Yes, I also thought that there was only two chances to get that card :P My first enemy dropped that card too xD Congrats!!

I know I'm five years late, but it's only a 50/50 chance, for anyone coming to this game now, theres a chance it will be impossible...
