I mean its not like writing in a whole new chapter would be too difficult they just have to retcon CQ2 "this is not your true time line! blah blah" and pick up from there hell they can pick up right where it was left off.
also id like to say should any DF officials happen across this thread id gladly pay the full industry standard 60.00 if the quality where same and they story and game length was expanded to reflect that price point.

And just think - at that speed of sign up they might have OVER TWO HUNDRED signatures by 2028!
open with them hearing the scary tale of what their parents did... and laughing about the obviously made up story... then having their own adventure!
It could be the grubbins having traveled through time (not an unheard of concept in the series already) or an entirely new BBEG
