Will there ever be a Costume Quest 3?

I really hope so, as a huge fan of double fines work and a huge fan of Ron (And the old Monkey Island games which were my first experience with PC gaming) I LOVED Costume Quest 1 AND 2.

My question is, will there ever be a third? Are there any plans for a third?

On hand I really do hope so the first 2 where amazingly grate the 2nd had a nice addition to its difficulty via the sorta hidden quests towards then end of the game.On the other with the way the amazon show turned out maybe just leave it as is :\.

I mean its not like writing in a whole new chapter would be too difficult they just have to retcon CQ2 "this is not your true time line! blah blah" and pick up from there hell they can pick up right where it was left off.

also id like to say should any DF officials happen across this thread id gladly pay the full industry standard 60.00 if the quality where same and they story and game length was expanded to reflect that price point.

I've been playing the second one for the first time since it came out. (played it years and years ago on the PS4 I think) It's such a joy. I would love to see the series continue. The Halloween cartoon TV special feel of these games are so unique in the gaming world.

49 people signed it in 2 years! I am sure DF have cleared their development schedule to get 3 out asap!

open with them hearing the scary tale of what their parents did... and laughing about the obviously made up story... then having their own adventure!
It could be the grubbins having traveled through time (not an unheard of concept in the series already) or an entirely new BBEG

Playing these has been my October ritual for a while, and I would really like something fresh...
