Random Performance issues?

Hello! I started playing The Lost Crown back in January, and enjoying the first few hours a lot

Yesterday I wanted to continue, and started noticing a lot of frame dips in the forest map. It's weird, sometimes, for a few seconds, the game is laggish and unresponsive.

I activated the Ubisoft connect Frame rate count and it says it's like 256, and it's not registering the frame drop. It's weird, my pc is able to run a lot of taxing games fairly okay and the game worked just fine that first few hours.

For the record, I haven't changed anything at software/hardware level and wasn't running any background trasks.

I didn't see any threads reporting this issue. Any tips or help would be greatly appreaciated.

Hello! I finally found the issue. I recently changed my Monitor to one that allows for freesync, apparently that option was the issue. I turned it off and the game runs as smooth as the first hours of play
