Game crashes so much and I wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with Ubisoft Connect and Steam Overlay not working well together.

Hasn't crashed for me and runs superb. Never had any issues with any my launchers - gog, ubisoft, ea etc. If a game is worth playing then more than happy to put up with any issues that pop up.

Yeah, it's so bad. It just creates hassle to the player and compatibility issues down the line, but Ubisoft will never get that.

Best option is to leave a negative review.

I will not buy this game unless they remove ubisoft connect requirement.
Ubisoft Connect disqualifies all Ubisoft titles from purchase.

ubi connect = no buy

look at many assassins creed old games, browse the forums look at south park games, ppl not being able to launch and play due ubi connect (always online DRM).

Many people aren't going to buy this even if they haven't used the launcher or it hasn't given them problems previously. Please ask your corpo overlords to just remove it all. This game could have gotten the sales it deserves if not for ubicraps antics. Look how well Nine Sols did in comparison

The 3rd party account with Ubi Connect is also a deal breaker for me.

Game's look like a nice metroidvania. A shame really.

Agreed 100%.

Bought the game in December was playing it just fine. Then I saw the DLC on sale on January 7th and bought it. Now it says the game is linked to a different account and I can't play. :sadpanda:

Currently waiting for a response Ubisoft support. :rfacepalm:
