Softlocked in Upper City Night

I threw a gem needed to progress on a higher ledge that cannot be accessed without said gem. Don't know if anyone has a solution.

Sorry to hear it you got stuck in a quest in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.

I'm not sure we will be able to assist you with this, sadly.
Did you try to look up the gameplay online? Perhaps you can find a solution this way.

You can try leaving the area and coming back(so it resets), but if it's the part I'm thinking about you can get high enough to grab it again even if you hucked it out of the way.

The walls around are unclimbable, probably to prevent cheese

I had the same problem, but there is a solution. After killing Menolias, you can teleport with your chakram. You can't throw it high enough to get to the platform, unless you bounce it against the right wall. Hoping to have helped you.
