Sorry to hear it you have lost your progress in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.
First, I need to start with this disclaimer:
At this stage, we are unable to guarantee full compatibility between Ubisoft games and services and Steam Deck / SteamOS.
Certain games could work; however, we are unable to assist in case of compatibility issues.
You can also reach out to the Steam Deck discussions for support:

Do you still have access to the old device to manually move the correct files from the correct path to the new one?
Cloud saves is normally managed by Ubisoft Connect that usually linked to a Steam application, but this is on a PC. Steam Deck can work differently, or you may have had cloud sync off.
Perhaps other Deck users will give advise.
I'll move this thread to General Discussion.
No, unfortunately, the data on the old Deck isn’t available anymore. I‘m a bit angry about myself, I checked a few games but as it worked with AC Mirage an AC Syndicate, I thought I don’t need to check the rest of my Ubisoft games.
The only thing I did was to copy the savegames folder from Ubisoft Connect, which contains save data for all of my Ubisoft games that I had installed on my Deck.
