Thank you for giving me advice!
I absolutely LOVE the game on my Switch and I wish the dev team hadn't gotten disbanded. I heard it didn't do well financially, which is sad.
But one thing about console versions (at least the Switch is) a) No Denuvo. b) No Ubisoft Launcher to deal with, you enter the game first and Ubisoft Connect is on the side (whether you have to make a new account or not I don't know for the Switch version). Ubisoft Connect is something you can check for rewards and stats, but is not critical to the game.
I recommend a physical copy ASAP as Ubi is moving toward the "Code in a Box" trash move, and then buy the "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - Complete Upgrade Pack" from the Nintendo eShop, which has all the DLC outfits, the Special Bird Amulet which uses 0 Amulet slots, and The Mask of Darkness DLC. The Complete Upgrade is normally just $10, but it's $5 right now at 50% off.
If you were to go full digital on the Switch (hypothetically speaking if you can't get a physical), I recommend buying the base game--because it is on Holiday Sale--for $20 and then getting the Complete Upgrade for $5. That's $25, the Digital Deluxe Edition, despite the fact the Holiday Sales are up, is $50. Ugh.
Though, Ideally, get a Physical copy for $20 or at most, $30. And then buy the Complete Upgrade Pack for $5 and you'll have everything.
Anyway, as someone who has gotten fairly far in the Switch version (my percentage completion is almost 50%), it's a great game and it runs well on the Switch.
thank you. I was bought it today
