Not only that but the Immortals of the game are very much multicultural anyway, for example Menolias is from Thrace, Neith is from Kush etc. The Persian Empire's army was famously multicultural too, it was a hodgepodge of different ethnicities and that's what the game is trying to represent so Sargon looking like he does makes sense.

Black people didn't exist in Persia during the Sassanian period....

Neither did Persopolis, Immortals, Queen Thomlys, and King Darius, those were all in the archimedean period about 700 years before the Sassanian period. But during the archimedean period the Persian empire did extend to Africa including where black people lived. In fact the ONLY thing in this game that points to Sassanian period is the Kushaans, everything else in the game points to the archimedean period.

The game is clearly taking elements of multiple periods to make this fictional Persia. But Vast majority of what is in this game is in the archimedean period, and only the Kushaans are the mark for sussanian period.

Exactly. It's a fictional Persian Empire based on elements of Persian history that spanned about 700 years. Most elements from the archimedean period with a single element from the Sussanian period. And mashed them together where nothing is exactly the same as the real Persian empire.
