They dont care about PoP, their fans, its history or legacy.
You complain about ESG and DEI but bad games etc... have happened during all our time even before all those things you complain popped off and became the "social escapegoating of the internet" for hardly any proven reason above simply try to find something that proves your bias
These things are as much as they were in the past, sometimes it may be a fault of developers but other times developers are simply not given the proper time to make their games, cause games are made with passion only by the people that work on it (and they can be everyone) or a handfull of studios, for the rest games are just a question of profit and maxime profit and cutting costs as much as possible like any form of entertainment.
When bad games were bad games in the past, they were simply bad games, now if we have bad games is not because they are bad games but because we have a " SOCIAL CORRUPTED SYSTEM" YABA YABA thing, the boogeyman, which is quite ridicolous.
Aside that i wanna say, that this game infact looks quite good from what i have seen and hopeful it is
If you believe in Ubisoft so much and their approach why not buy some stock. It's in the dumps right now so if you think the company will improve it's a good time to buy.
It looks overall like a solid metroidvania game and possibly also good, i do not care about this other fuff.
Hopefully it proves to be good and do well financially aswell since those are two different things that not always go hand in hand.

The game has less than 500 players concurrent. That's very very low for its launch week. You better buy it and get all your friends to buy it and you better all get on their playing it ASAP otherwise you're going to need a lot more than hope to make it do well financially.
