What is Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown?

• Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown is an action-adventure platformer, that takes place in Mount Qaf, an imaginary world inspired by Persian mythology, where the player will live an epic adventure to save the Prince and restore world balance.

Who will I be playing as? 

• In Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown you will play as Sargon, a young gifted Persian warrior who is part of the Immortals, a group of seven exceptional fighters.

 Is the game narratively connected to the previously released Prince of Persia games? 

• There is no connection with previous Prince of Persia games. Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown is a brand-new experience, introducing new characters, narrative, gameplay systems and more!

Which Ubisoft Studio developed the game? 

• The game is entirely developed by a passionate team at Ubisoft Montpellier, supported by Ubisoft studios in Bucharest, Pune and Kiev in matters of QA & QC.

Is Jordan Mechner involved in the development of the game? 

• Jordan Mechner was regularly informed on the development of the project, but he was not directly involved on the game production. 

Who are the composers for the game’s music?

• We worked with Mentrix, an Iranian-French composer to immerse players into a modern and epic vision of Persian folklore. To add to the mood created by her music, we also worked with award-winning Gareth Coker well known for his work on games such as the two Ori’s and more recently Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Are there any multiplayer modes?

• No, there is no multiplayer mode in the game.

• Yes, the game incorporates a 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-Tamper.

Following the release of the Complete Edition September 17, 2024, the Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Edition Upgrade will be replaced by the Complete Edition and Complete Edition Upgrade. The Complete Edition will include the content previously available with the Deluxe Edition.

As the owner of the Deluxe Edition, you will not lose access to any of its content with this change. New content released September 17 will be available for individual purchase or through the Complete Edition Upgrade.

Is there a way to acquire the initial pre-order bonus?

• Yes, the Warrior Within skin will be available for all players in the following weeks after September 17th.

• 'Mask of Darkness' will be available at a recommended price of 4.99 EUR/USD.

Do I need to own the base game to play the DLC?

• Yes, in order to play the DLC, you are required to own the base game.

• Yes, you will be able to upgrade to the Complete Edition.

Steam Information

Is a Ubisoft Connect account required to play the game? 

• Yes, in order to play the game, a Ubisoft Connect account is required. Linking a Steam Account and Ubisoft Connect account is supported.

Will I need to download and install Ubisoft Connect separately?

• No, the Steam installation includes a lightweight version of Ubisoft Connect. No additional installation necessary.

Can I play Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown offline? 

• Yes, you can play offline.
  To do so, make sure that both, your Steam and Ubisoft Connect accounts are linked, [www.ubisoft.com] and you've launched the game while connected to the internet at least once fully on the device you plan to play on.

Are Steam Achievements available in the game?

• Yes, the same achievements, as seen on other platforms and consoles, are be available on Steam.

Is Steam Cloud supported by the game?

• Save files are synched using Ubisoft Connect services, allowing full cross-platform progression across different platforms and consoles.

Is Family Sharing supported by the game?

• Family Sharing is not supported.

Is the game verified on Steam Deck?

• Yes, players can explore Mount Qaf and save the Persian Empire from wherever their Steam Deck takes them.
