Snake skeletons location as well as the fossil?
(I've never done one of these before so excuse my noobish-ness...) So I will admit it, I totally cheat and stalk guides to help me find the more special Shelter 2 collectibles. Though upon looking up many guides, finding out what the hidden achievements are, and being grateful for such a helpful community... I must ask a little more. I recently unlocked the mountains in Shelter 2 so I know I have all the zones, but I swear i've looked all over every single map in the game. I have found the rose, the pink flower, the blue feather, the fox skull, the shell, the egg- most by accident. One or two with a guide, but I just can't seem to find the snake skeleton everyone is talking about or the fossil. (I'm assuming you find the fossil because there's a hidden achievement for it- sorry if i'm wrong.)

Point being: Does ANYONE know where they are? I would prefer a map location visual on the items, but honestly typed directions will do it too at this point. I would love the help from my fellow lynx mothers. ;3; If not, thank you anyways for reading. ;3;

The snake skeleton is fairly simple. You find the huge waterfal in the mountain area then take a right and go up the big rocky slope which should bring you near the metiorite but you go opposit of there and go down this slope where you will find a swampy place full of water, fog, thin trees and frogs everywhere Go past that up the hill and go left until the path slopes down. You go down there and take a right. Be weary there are bears in the area that can appear. Just keep going right until you see a thick pine forest between the rock cliffs. Go there and you will find 3-4 trees leaning on echother with bones scattered EVERYWHERE. The snake skeleton is just below the trees.

I also have a question. Would you know where the shell is?? I cant find it anywhere. If you've found it typing out directions or a map location would be great! Your welcome for helping~

Luckily for you I was smart enough to take a screenshot of my location before I picked it up. x'D I found the shell in winter, not sure if it makes a difference like some collectibles on if it has to be a time of year or not. I was hunting rabbits all up and down this hill for my cubs before they got a bit older when I ran into a frozen pond. I ended up skirting around it unsure when spring would strike, and didn't want it to just randomly happen and all my cubs to drown. If you were looking on the opposite end of the where pond is located at, (The shore the shell ISN'T on) the shell should be to the right of the waterfall by a rock. (The lynx's/your right.) I hope you find it. ;3;

^ I wasn't sure if that was the shell's location when I posted it, but I just double checked for you right now before posting this reply. It IS the shells location, so as long as you match your lynx mother to my lynx icon then you should be golden! ;3; Hope you get the achieve!
Helpful note: You'll be closer to it if you enter the mountains from the tundra (Snowflake icon) than running around all over the mountains.

I'm pretty sure i've followed your guide because i've seen the landmarks and even avoided one bear on the way, but I just can't find the bones you're talking about. ;3; The only bones I found was of some large animal in a cave around where the bear was yet there was nothing there to collect... I'm also not sure of these "Three leaning on each other" trees you're talking about. ;3; I've seen fallen trees in the forest, but none were leaning on each other...
