What Do You Do When You Encounter The Lonesome Fog?(Read the description. Please)
**Note that I don't need help. I just want to know your stories on how you "escape" it :)

So, pretty much everyone has encountered the Lonesome Fog(or "blob") before. I've heard from most people that they just swap areas or try to get far away. But how specifically do you solve it?

I personally do what I've heard no one else(so far) does; I run strait into it. With my cubs near by, I directly walk up to it all like, "Come at me!" If you keep your cubs nearby, you'll be perfectly safe and enjoy(I guess?) some pretty weird, purple scenery. I guess I teach my cubs to "face their fears" lol.

What do you do?

Just keep moving away from it at a steady pace. Moving uphilland in general away from the lake (where it spawns most often) seems to help. In general, there are certain directions it will expand in more than others.
When it occurs, if your cubs are small, one of them will usually freeze up and not move. Just grab it and move... in whatever direction. Including into the fog, if it suits you. I agree, it seems that if your cubs are close by, it's all okay. It's only dangerous if you end up separated.

Wait... was that advice? Because I don't need any. I just wanted to know how others way of solving this danger differ from mine XD. I said that up top lol

My best advice would be to not move. If you stay in one place your cubs won't wander off.

Thank you. Thank you for being the first person not to give me advice XD

Yeah... I don't see why people panic so much. It is fun to run into it... :)
It turns out when the cub freezes up (usually the white one), and you don't do anything and keep going, I've heard that you will hear it cry out and it looks like it is taken by something in the fog. I have only met it twice, but both times I lay down and sit tight till it clears. You can do whatever you want but i want to keep my cubs thanks.

Very interesting! I've only ever lost one(he was very far away and all I did was poke it...). I want to see what that looks like but don't want to sacrifice a cub... Also what does tks mean?

Um... no. First of all, did you even read what I said...? I said I wanted to hear your stories. I think only one or two people read that... Second, it doesn't kill whatever it touches. I've been inside it multiple times, and have many screenshots if you need proof. And third, it's not a mudslide from the mountains. It is confirmed as the Lonesome Fog, as Dinohamster21 before me has said.

I'm sorry I sound so rude in this, but there are three errors in your post.

Sure! It's hard to see me, but my lynx was laying down with the cubs nearby http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=950516693
All you have to do is just poke it. But, your cubs have to be close or it will take them...

Lol, when I first encountered my lonesome fog I thought it was just a strange low cloud. Knowing my curious side of me was going wild, I decided to go right into it. Then I noticed that I couldn't find my way out and I heard all the noises and thought that I was gonna die. By the time it went away I found one of my kittens on the ground and unable to move. Eventually I tried to figure out what it was because I assumed it was a glitch. But now whenever I play I try to go into another area or just let it consume me.
