Weird 3 trees in lake area?

I was playing shelter 2. I had found 3 trees on a small hill in the lake area in Autumn. When I got close, my one cub got scared and it looked like it was Summer! The season changed! But when I stepped back again, it was Autumn! Can soneone explain this? is this a secret? What does it mean? Its weird!

Yeah! This happened to me too. Its probably just a "special" area like the tiger cave, lake island, Big tree etc, it even marks it on the map. Maybe it has something to do with the Three Trees symbol? All the trees have eggs in spring and summer.

These 'Special' areas aren't really areas. They're simply secerets for players to find, usually these secrets having special collectables in them. As it's better to discover these spots by yourself, as you gain more sadisfaction from it without help, I'll say there's at least one special collectable in each area, including Mountains. I will say that Tiger cave is in Tundra. If you need, I do have a map of Tundra in my screenshots, though there is a guide if you don't want to search. I suggest finding these secerets after your cubs have left you.

i found it too, it scared my white cub which confused me. maybe it is there for a reason or maybe something happened in that area.

I couldn't find any explanation for this strange "season change" effect, so I assume this is just an easter egg, something to discover and enjoy but with no meaning for gameplay.

P.S. It works all year round.
