How does singleplayer work?
Not really looking for opinions on the game's quality here, just trying to figure out how exactly the singleplayer mode works. Do you progress through levels one by one or can you select any level to play at any time (like Left 4 Dead)? Is the enemy difficulty/spawnrate scaled down to accommodate single players? Are there difficulty options in general?

Single player is very similar to co-op, you're just Alone in the Dark (Get it? Anyone? I'll show myself out...)

The only main difference is that its harder to survive (Especially if you're not the hunter), because you have no one to shine their flashlight on the monster with you (Two flashlights on one monsters allows you to shoot it, one does not), therefore you must use all lights to your advantage. Being the witch helps the most, because you can use her lightning and it recharges.

Enemy spawn rate, from what i've seen, is the same. You can set a difficulty, however.
