Ive opened up 3 support tickets on this now and no resolution and i havenet been able to play the game for a month now, and no like others i will not roll back a windows update!!!!!!!!! SO yep, FIX IT!!!!!

the probleme i think is the game do not support windows11 v24h2 (KB5050094)
The dev of Settlers are see that i think but actually game dont work.

the game is created 2019 and sale In 2024, in spec the game spec win10 x64.

Another month went by and no fix. I can play old build of GTA4 on same Windows 11 24h2 with no problems, but not this game. So yeah this is Ubisoft issue.

Poor programing will cause such issues.

Yes, I understand. You can also play the old Settlers game I have on Steam.
I wrote to communications manager Stephan, then to the studio in Düsseldorf last night. Until I get a return email, I'll stay in touch with them. I'm not well-known enough for them to respond, or maybe they're burying their heads in the sand.
But I want a response from them. The goal is not to upset anyone. Several people, including myself, would like to play this game we paid for.

This game is actually sold as compatible with Windows 11, but it is NOT! I think it is a fraud to keep selling it. I asked for refund after a couple of months waiting for a FIX, but Steam gives only 15 days refund. It is really sad situation.

I can confirm on win 11 24H2 the game is broken. Sadly I am over the 10 days period that I could revert to 23H2. I can only play it on my steamdeck...
So UbiSoft, for fk sake do something, the is issue is almost 6 month old and there is no solution, even if it means to reach out to microsoft.

As a lesson, remember to always read the game's specifications first; here, the studio doesn't blame itself much for what they sell.
On the moral level, it's different, and without a patch from them and a dialogue, they won't get far with their next game.

There was an update today, and game still crash. so nothing is fixed.
