takes forever to build something

my damn carriers never come! engineers waiting forever for them even if they are enough carriers and resources, i thought this game was chill but its annoying AF lol rather play age of empires. sucks you cant prioritize building what you want when you want instead.

the problem with the carriers is that here is how the game logic go's "
one resrouce have been made " sellect idle carrier - nearest carrire: false- find carry furthest away : true - make carries use more then one entrance to storehouse: false.
cluster everyone up one to use the same entrance : true

Your problem is, as they said. your lacking Carriers. That means you went into Deficit hell because you didn't build enough housing. If you have Zero 0 ideal Carriers, then you don't have enough workers to keep up with what you are building and resource gathering.

The game does not do a very good job explaining when it says the Storage is full. what its really should be saying is that you are lacking workers.

This game is about chilling , do not to fast, build up your base with a good economy, so make that you have all the resources you need, food is used to buff buildings like a metalforge, so its all about build up your base, good defence with towers, you start with a woodcutter and forester if trees dont regrow, then sawmill, then sort out where you find a stone mine for a continue stone income, then you put up your defence with towers and decoys, step by step, dont go to fast, so here i told you a tactic to use at the start ;) ofcourse if you still have problems, look up for wemod who will give you some options if its to hard. i finished the game already as i can tell you , i am a pro at settlers, played from the first settlers when i was still in school ;)
