"Buggy" ant counts? XD

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but for some reason, I will be looking at the population of the ants on certain islands and they are obviously incorrect. And then when I click on specific ants (on the left side UI window that also shows material counts), it mostly shows me only the dead ants of each type.

Is it a bug or am I crazy?

needs test on new update but the view resources seems to bug out after some time as it starts to display resources on an island that are not available

some looking into that would be nice as it is kinda annoying

also i suspect that things start to bug out usually when fps stutters bad

are you zoomed out?
if zomed out it counts all islands, zoomed in only one island.
