What did you use for first random island?
So I've reached that point, and the random island that spawns is one of the already discovered ones: blue, jungle, desert, toxic.

Jungle: Has the green flowers, which are immensely helpful. But requires a lot of time to get the plants out of the way to build anything meaningful. I'm thinking of transferring the green pods to desert, where I've set up the pod upgraders.

Blue: Has the yellow flowers, which are almost endless. I could use this to constantly upgrade yellow to green, and pretty much do the same as with jungle, and use the whole island for just this. It may end up bringing me more green pods than having the jungle.

Desert: Just a lot of space really. You get a lot of copper/concrete from the first desert island, so I don't think it's good. I'd use it for the same reason as blue really.

Toxic: So this type seems "end-game", so I'm wondering that I might need the gold deposits for later on. At the moment it doesn't seem like a good idea, as the toxic island I got I've barely touched. But I'm not sure if I'm gonna need it later.

So what do you guys think? What should I do?

I did desert, bc i needed more copper and rubble. But another Main island could of been useful for a main Hub/ crafting island, with tier 1 pod workers, you can use concrete tiles to move the energy flowers by building over them, they then will respawn near other flowers.

How did you run out of copper?? I still only have collected everything from the main island, and mostly to empty it, but I haven't mind anything. Are you constantly building lesser gynes? Cause I stopped at 50 points, I don't think I'll ever need them again tbh.

Once you can recycle miners, copper is a renewable resource.

Yeah i think that was my problem... i was too lazy to recycle miners given i moved them around so much. I guess couldve walked them back to a central recycling spot. I just upgrade the small diggers to diggers then let the diggers dig themselves to death :P
