The grind for 5 stars appears to be just for the achievements (there is a set of achievements for getting 5 stars on each location in each sector)
I would agree on this. I like chasing some of the achievements but this is nuts. The amount of reputation that is given is so completely chintzy that working your way to 5 stars just seems ludicrous.
Thanks for considering this.
Just to share my experience, I'm 6.5 hours in game just trying to reach the 5 stars on mercury and i'm sill 4k to go.
And this is with cooking some piles of steaks, breads, ... in advance so I just have to assemble the burgers when the orders arrive
See I dont disagree with you at all, despite my previous comment. Its a relaxing ride, but the variety in lets just say most everything isnt there to sustain this game for my estimated 30+ hours to cook through all the planets. Plus you make the assumption it should take years for a restaurants reputation to go up, sure, in real life. We are serving cats and ladies plus some dudes that say meow all the time. We are feeding cats hamburgers. Lets keep this in the video game space, pun intended.
I think it's awesome that you listen to the community!
On that note a question: would it be possible to add this as an option? Like an option that reduces the reputation needed if you want it like that, or to keep it the way it is now.
I am glad you are looking at the rebalancing of the stars, especially for the first level(s)
Mecury is the "tutorial" level and you shouldn't force players to be on there longer than they have too in order to get 5 stars, I am not sure what the benefits are of getting 5 stars on all levels as I have just started, but the fact that all my current playtime of this game is trying to get 5 stars on the first level shows you that it is getting tedius, I want to move on and progress further in the game and do new things...
It feels like you are artificially inflating the game play.
I don't mind having the challenge or grind later on in the game as thats when I should have all the menu items and have a better idea of what is going on, but the first level just seems crazy how many orders you have to complete just to get the next star.
