Thresher is useless. Fun, but useless. If you get rekt by threshers, then just.. lmfao. Especially now that the little sharks can't sprint while nomming, it just sucks against anyone who can shoot 1 bullet.

I don't know the update is just a few hours ago now, maybe more testing and more playing is required?

I'm still giving it a chance, but the shark simply fails because even though close quarters are ideal for its ability, its thrashing sucks and its health is so low that it makes the shark absolutely horrid.

Nah really, this shark needs some buff. Since you have to stay near divers to hit them with the tail, why this shark has very low health ? He should be kind of tanky. Also the tail range is very limited, divers literally has to stick to each other if you want to deal damges to them them.And the trashing damages are just too low.

Other than that I really like the idea of this shark and he is cute.

First game as thresher was devils head, I ran 24-4 alongside a tiger shark that got maybe 5 kills. Sure, the divers barely shot a bullet, but it was a useful lesson in how ridiculous the thresher CAN be if left unchecked. Double thresher is a fun-as-hell combo too, combining tail whips for great justice.

Sure, Thresher can massacre teams that stick together and don't shoot. So can every other shark. If they spread out, Thresher isn't good. If they shoot, Thresher isn't good. So let me give some comparisons. Tanks like Great White and Hammerhead are good in close quarters. The reason for this being the divers can hit sharks more easily with a limited space for the shark to move in, and tanks can take the damage (i.e. Galleon). A shark like the Mako sucks in close quarter rooms because it just can't take the hits, and in maps like Galleon it's not quite as easy to escape. So back to the Thresher. Close quarters are ideal for it's tail whipping ability. But it's health is so scarce that it is also unideal for staying in close quarters. So what? It's basically useless. It has as much health as a Mako so the Thresher just cancels itself out. :/

Thresher in tandem with another shark destroy if you do it right, example:

Get a tiger as a team mate. Thresher darts in, unleashes his preassure wave, flashlights go out, tiger cloaks, enters, everyone dies.

Thresher is a weak shark yeah, but he's not useless. He is designed to hit n' run and slowly weaken the divers for the other shark, then he can join the other shark in a quick and easy feeding frenzy when all the divers are wounded.

I just think it's somewhat poorly designed in that it is a close quarters shark, but has too low of health to stay in close quarters. o-o and noooot many people will actually be using teamwork, but that's a different issue.
