Voice Chat?
So i'm fairly new to depth. it's a really fun game. However, I just realized in my last game 2 divers had an audio symbol next to names. Is voice chat in this game? and if so, HOW DO I USE IT? Thanks.

press and hold down 'T' to voice chat. Note that there is about a 2 second delay for the voice to go through. So if you try to use it to call for help, just know it'll fall on deaf ears while you are being torn apart =P.

Not a big fan of voice chat anyhow, it ruins the illusion when someone is talking about a random thing.

A ventrillo type setup would work better for premade teams.

That only works for friends/premades though. Some people do want to communicate through the game, especially if they are playing solo with randoms.

If you hold down 'T' How come I never hear anyone talk?

Is there a setting I need to have on?

Nope. People just aren't chatty. I've experienced it myself...

Thats a yes AND no for different reasons.

If you or they dont have it enabled they wont hear you or anybody using voice chat. I am not sure if the voice chat is on or off by default. Check it anyway and make sure its on.

Sharks cant hear divers voice chat and divers cant hear sharks while the match is running. Only during pre and post game times can you all hear everyone speak.

So Divers may be using voice chat and you cant hear them anyway because of that restriction..

Lastly, the voice chat uses your default micriphone as listed in your PC settings. Make sure the microphone is working and selected as yuor default or active microphone.

I actually have my voice chat key set to left Alt key for convenience.

In the settings. Its under the Input Misc. tab
