They have no difficulty, I put them on hard, kills everyone in a matter of seconds, put them on easy... kills everyone in a matter of seconds. THE SHARK AI ARE SO OP!!!! They can run in, eat a person in less than 2 seconds, jump to the next...eats them, jumps to the next... eats him, jumps to the next... EATS HIM!!! YOU CANT RUN FROM FREAKING SHARK AI... I was in the shark sheild thing, you know that practicaly makes you invisible? Yeah, shark AI dont give a rip about it, they run in and eat everyone, I was on easy, and lost on literally the second vault thing, and dont start spamming, GET GUD... GET GUD... GET GUD... YOU CANT, the freaking AI sharks made me lose with 0 lives, to their 17 lives... COME ON, NERF THE FREAKING SHARK AI FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

played with EASY sharks right now - won the match without any difficulties. looks like its not sharks - its your skill and tactics, try to improve it.

Shark shield does not make you invisible
Real players kill you even harder.

The bots are actually quite easy to kill and are not op at all but when you're new to the game you might not get that feeling.

Play a few games with players of your skill level, then try again and you will see the bots are weak as hell.

Just saying that a veteran player will kill you more than any AI shark ever will

dude, Easy sharks are insane. I played them with multiple people, they will both rush in and eat all of us, we may be able to kill one, but the diver bots are so stupid

To be honest, although I have 600+ hours in this game and find bots to be really easy to beat (I could probably get all 32 kills on them and only die once or twice), bots were extremely hard for me in the beginning. I can see the difference between Hard bots and Easy bots, but there isn't much. Bots overall need some improvements. Until then, all I can say is try passive bots?

I just beat med bots its not too hard just make sure you get a good weapon early and put down flares and sonars.

new players are bad wich to some degree is normal but the bots are bad too, they just know what to do and don't swim into the room slowly, take a good look, swim nearer to you and then finaly pounce you

AI sharks are OP, no matter what some experienced players say. They are perfectly beatable, and even easy if you are very good. But in many of the matches, they are dominating. And more than anything, they are so super fast and aggressive!

I am not complaining as an angry diver after getting eaten by them, but as a shark who is annoyed to play with an AI shark that kills all my food and leaves me starving. I was having my strongest game ever (by my standards mind you) as a Tresher, and I had 8 kills in a row with my first life before dying. I felt invincible killing machine! In next life I got 5 more kills. Just in 2 lives as a tresher, whoo hoo here I go I was thinking! Oh... "Sharks Win"... I was doing my best hunting ever, but the AI shark had eaten 21 divers already... Sigh. And this was in Cove, and we were still at the second Steve Spot ><.

Sure maybe the divers had just gotten their PADI licenses, but it happens very often anyway - the AI shark is so fast and relentless that it makes all the matches end up too soon if the divers cant handle him. If the divers are very good, they kill the shark fast and then the match will end up soon too. At least the AI divers won`t let the matches end too soon even with their unhuman reflexes and accuracy. The sharks control the speed of the match, not the divers. When there is an AI shark, you know the divers will never face the last part of escape.

Average shark bots (hard bots) are stronger than average shark players and bots never lag, bots have perfect vision so they dont care if you use a shark shield or not (maybe sharkshield+ no lights would work?) and they also have 100% precision .... but easy bots are soo easyyy last time i played against easy bots i got 21 kills, sadly in real matches there are no easy bots ... i think the solution may be to just randomize the lvl of the bots that replace players ...

If you are really having difficulties with easy bots then you should play against real shark players lol ..... once you win against average shark players easy bots will be a joke

EDIT: btw the game is actually an online multiplayer game so you probably shouldnt spend so much time with bots =P

Bots aren't so much OP as they are poorly designed. Bots in this game are fairly dumb and predictable, but insanely accurate and aggressive. I don't particularly blame the devs for going this route as it would be a hard game to make good ai for. They probably did the best they could and then just made up for their lacking aspects with high precision. The bots seem so strong to new players as they don't have a feel for the game and thus can't really predict and out maneuver the bots, when you don't out maneuver the bots they will rip you to shreds as they have 0 ping and don't really miss. Add on their sheer aggressiveness and they go from strong to overwhelming. Personally I feel the bots need to play a little less aggressively and a little more varied, this would make them less overwhelming to new players but harder to abuse for experienced players.

bot are easy as

like all AI once you understand how it works it becomes easy as you can use this to your advantage
1)bots come in a straight line from spawn so don’t cower in a room get outside where you can see them coming from a long way off
2)place down bulk sonar best place is between you and the shark spawn
3)sit back and shoot sharks as they come for you lit up by your sonar

The only thing that's OP about the AI sharks is they don't need to rely on motor skills (mouse movement) to thrash you, so they thrash at the speed of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ light and kill you before you ever have a chance to stab at them. Their tactics are predictable and it's not impossible to beat them, but if you get in their jaws and they aren't a shark with weak thrash damage then you're pretty much screwed.

There is a cap to thrash dps, so high sensitivity/dpi/bots will not really help all that much. However, bots pretty much have perfect thrashing, so they will start killing you the moment they have you in their clutches. Assuming you react within a decent amount of time (and have full HP) you should be able to get 2 stabs in against a high thrash damage shark. If you are quick enough you may get 3.
