Pkhavens had a similar problem, but for him it was a monitor setting that was causing it to be extremely dark. Once he changed that he said the game was fine.
I do agree though that the game got darker after the Bull Shark update.
Hopefully, we'll get to test it or have some infos about it before its release.

One of my screen is plugged in over HDMI and every time Nvidia does an update it changes this setting back to 'Limited'.
I find playing Depth as a diver on the Limited colour range very hard, so I recommend checking this setting.

This visability is awful. Prior to the Bull Shark upddate I would be able to see the third safe building easily from this postion. Now all I see is a sea of darkness.
