As for the other pistols, tranquilizing or toxic.
Vision wrecks them. Spam buy regular flares and toss them far from steve out windows etc, and you know where they are before they are close.
- Spear pistols with drag or toxic
- APS with heavy barrel
- Never undestimate the helpfulness of sonar and flares to get a head start on shooting the shark
Against 2 tanks you'll have the speed advantage. You're not invincible if they play smart so still be careful, and if 1 or both come after you, you can buy your team some respite (or they could focus on 3v2ing at Steve and things may get dicey).
But should you get to safe 2 with 2, 2.5k in the bank, fighting back shouldn't be too hard.
ahh nothing i love more as a GW than a DPVer who doesn't know how to avoid a shark, or waiting for them while my partner herds them towards me
only ones worse than that are the DPV'er / Bangstickers who dont' know what they're doing, and CHASE down sharks to try and bang stick them....only to die because they have no idea what they're doing. I feel really bad for the team then, because those guys are usually SUPER persistent and won't give up even after draining tons of tickets
Sometimes when I’m GW and see a diver with dpv I usually get double time and I basically sprint them down lol. Even more funny is when you use goblin on a person using a dpv and you bait them into a trap.
